Welcome to June! Just a few things to communicate with you about summer training. Summer Conditioning (all sports) begins on June 15. It is strongly encouraged that you participate in the strength and conditioning sessions over the summer, runners need strength and flexibility, not just endurance! With today being June 1st. Summer, in my eyes, is officially here. I have attached the following summer schedule and camp flyer. I will be collecting camp flyers and money during the first week of Acclimation conditioning, which starts June 15th. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU ATTEND ALL CONDITIONING SESSIONS. Tonganoxie High & Middle School summer weights & conditioning program will begin June 15th at Beatty Field. Reminder to all students, THS is having pick-up and drop-off this week from 9 am – 3 pm Thursday & Friday in the Chieftain Room. Items to pick-up – dipolas for seniors, musical instruments, art projects, items from lockers, certificates / awards (including senior scholarships, educational excellence, winters sports awards), pe lockers, just to list a few
With the implementation of Phase 2 & Reopening Kansas Plan, Tonganoxie School District is excited to announce the opening of our track at Beatty Field for public use beginning Monday June 1, 2020. Tonganoxie High School and Middle School plan to begin summer strength & conditioning program on Monday June 15th. Summer strength & conditioning will be open for all USD464 students grades 7-12 that plan to participate in athletics next year. KSHSAA has created Summer Guidelines for acclimation to physical activity. Student-Athletes are required to participate in 10 acclimation days
