Boys Varsity Football · Football Hosts Spring Hill in Regional Round of 4A State Playoffs Tonight

Your Tonganoxie Chieftain football team has put together a great year and has a chance to make history tonight as they host Spring Hill High School in the regional round of the KSHSAA 4A state playoffs.  Tonganoxie  has never been 10-0 and the team is doing everything they can to make history tonight.

Tongie is 9-0 for the second time in three years (Last year’s team went 7-2 with an additional loss to Paola in the Regional round.) Before 2017, the last time the chieftains were 9-0 was the 1950s.

Tonganoxie hosts fellow Frontier League opponent Spring Hill tonight at 7:00pm.  Tongie played the Broncos earlier this season with a 41-0 win. Spring Hill is much improved since the week 6 matchup. They have rattled off 3 straight wins including last weeks upset of the favored Pittsburg Purple Dragons by a score of 17-13.

When: 7:00pm Tonight (4/8)

Where: Beatty Field

Who: #1 Tonganoxie Chieftains (9-0, 7-0) and #9 Spring Hill Broncos (5-4, 4-3)

As a reminder, this is a KSHSAA playoff game, so no passes are accepted. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students (K-12).
