Chieftains boys soccer powered back in the second half to tie vs Kansas City Christian. Down 2-0 at the end of the first half, Tongie scored on goals by Desi Wagner , on assists from Jared Bothwell and Matt Perich Great saves by Wyatt Martin. Varsity is off until Sept. 4. JV’s first game

The Red/White football scrimmage tonight has been moved to the practice field to the west of the football stadium. Please come out and bring a lawnchair to enjoy your Cheiftain football team as they prepare to take on Basehor-Linwood next Friday night!

There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing basketball this year in Coach Williams’ room during Homeroom on Tuesday 8/28. We will talk about a number of things including: Golf Tournament/Fundraisers, Fall Opportunities, and Summer Prize Winners. We had a fantastic summer and look to take that momentum into the fall.

Boys soccer opens the season at 6:30 at Olathe District Athletic Complex against Kansas City Christian on Friday August 24th.

Come out to the fairgrounds this Saturday, August 25 for the Red/White Scrimmage! Girls start at 8:00 AM and boys take off 15 minutes after the girls finish. THis will be a competitive race that will set our varsity runners for our dual with Lansing at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth.

Friday August 24th volleyball and football will be having their annual inter-squad scrimmages. Volleyball will be from 5-6:15 and Football will begin at 7:00. At 6:00 we will have our back to school tailgate and new Superintendent Meet and Greet.
