Korbin was selected to represent team Kansas in a dual vs Missouri on Tuesday March 5th @ 6:30 pm @ Kansas City Kansas Community College. Please come out and support him, this a huge honor to be selected only the best Seniors in our area get selected.

State Wrestling Schedule – 4 Chieftains attempt to make history

4 Tonganoxie Chieftains have the opportunity to be the first individual state wrestling champion in school history this weekend. Grayson Sonntag (106), Korbin Riedel (152), Jesse Collier (160), and Connor Searcy (195) all look to make history this weekend in Salina. Come support our Chieftains as we look to bring back individual and team hardware.

Wrestling Team Finishes 5th @ Regionals

THS Wrestlers finished 5th place @ Regionals in Paola. The wrestling team qualified 4 out of 10 wrestlers this weekend at regionals for the State tournament in Salina next week. Qualifiers are Grayson Sonntag, Korbin Riedel, Jesse Collier, and Connor Searcy. Notable performances from Senior Jacob Miller, and Junior Josiah Stephen who fell one match

Riedel Breaks Record

Korbin Riedel takes over the Tonganoxie high Career Wins record with 160 wins. Korbin moved past Clayton Himpel for Career wins which was previously 149 wins and also won his 3rd Regional Title this weekend. Korbin is currently 38-0 on the season and will compete at State next weekend in Salina. He looks to add

Searcy Wins Regionals

Connor Searcy Wins his 2nd regional title in 2 years Defeating 4th ranked Ferguson from Ottawa in the finals 8 to 3. Connor is currently 24-2 on the Season and is ranked #1 in class 4A in his weight

Collier Advances to the State Tournament

Jesse Collier takes 4th at regionals and advances to the state tournament next week in Salina. Jesse Improves his record to 26-19. Congrats Jesse keep it rolling and finish strong #Tongieproud
