Golf season come to end

Girls golf season came to an end today with the state golf tourney. We had only one qualifier to state and that was Morgan Brusven. She showed very well for Tonganoxie by placing 10th as an individual and set a low state score for Tonganoxie with an 87. She also had a personal best nine

State Golf Monday and Tuesday

Tonganoxie will send their state golfer off to participate in the State Tourney on Monday and Tuesday. Morgan Brusven will wrap a great career with her second state golf appearance. Attached is the schedule for the weekend. Coach SandState Golf Scheduleburg

Regional golf battle

The Lady Chieftains golfer put up a good fight at regional despite a tough course and bad luck. The team was led by Morgan Brusven who shot 88 and took 3rd at the regional and will play next week at state. The ladies all competed well but fell short of a team return to state.

Golf Girls Take 3rd At Falcon Lakes

Girls Golf team had the final regular season tournament of the Year at Falcon Lakes Golf Course at Basehor Linwoods home tourney. The girls felt like they had a rough day but finished 3rd overall with a score of 402, We were third behind Anderson County and Spring Hill. The team was paced by Hayden

Anderson County Tourney

Tongie Girls Golf had a solid day at Garnett Country Club in the Anderson County invitational. The girls placed 3rd with a 390, behind Spring Hill and host Anderson County who tied at 368. Tongie was paced by Senior Morgan Brusven who took 4th with an 88. In 6th was Hayden York with a 91.

Homecoming Queen Candidates

Golf has two wonderful young ladies who were nominated for homecoming queen!! Meghan Heskett and Morgan Brusven have been good golfers for four years but are even better people. No wonder they were nominated for homecoming court. All the kids on court are great but I hope one of my young ladies win it!!!

Second Place at Junction City

The ladies did a nice job down at Junction City on Thursday. The took second place overall as a team behind only Shawnee Heights. The team was paced by Kylie Rickard with 54 and 4th place overall. Other counting scores were Santiana Garcia with 59, Emma Skelley with 60 and Keerstin McNeely with 68. The

The girls golf team fell one short of defend their Jeff West Tourney title. The girls kept the improvement as a team with a 387 score. The team was paced by Morgan Brusven with 92 (3rd place). Chilali Tanner has a personal best of 94 for 6th place. Hayden York has a 97 for eleventh
